Autofil 1000ml is available as either a complete system or as a funnel only bottle-top vacuum filter. The patented next generation product comes with 3 different asymmetric PES membrane pore sizes ( .1μm, 0.2μm, or 0.45μm). Our membrane is low protein binding and surfactant-free. The Autofil system is designed for sterilization or clarification of aqueous laboratory fluids. The filters are sterilized in the USA. An industry first, Foxx Life Sciences sells a stable, low-profile, patented optional pedestal base or a low cost ring-stand cradle. Each holder provides a stationary vacuum hose connection that makes set-up and use quick and efficient while preventing spills and tissue culture hood contamination. These holders also allow for hands-free operation of the filter unit. Foxx Life Sciences’ Autofil is manufactured in ISO 13485 clean room in NA.

Developed with You in Mind
Foxx Life Sciences, located just north of Boston, has spent over 10 years developing and manufacturing one of the widest range of filter sizes, membrane pore sizes, and materials for bottle-top vacuum filtration market. Autofil can be used with a standard vacuum adapter included with each unit or placed on the patented pedestal or cradle ring (sold separately) for ease of use and safety. Bottle includes patented SECUREgrasp caps and clear graduation marks.
Autofil is sterilized to a Sterility Assurance Level of 10^-6 in the USA and is produced with all Class VI materials. Design, development and tooling were all completed in the USA. Autofil is also manufactured with a one piece funnel design lowering cost and reducing quality issues. Finally, every unit is produced in a ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified cleanroom in North America.
High Flow Rates
Foxx Life Sciences provides a wide range of membranes and pore sizes with high flow rates and increased throughput that maximize the amount of media that can be filtered before clogging. Our patented single piece funnel design greatly reduces manufacturing errors while increasing vacuum performance.
Low Center of Gravity
Our bottle-top filters are wider, meaning that they are easier to fit under the hood and have a lower center of gravity. Thus, the instability created when media is poured into the top of the assembly is greatly reduced.

Because your solution is important, we use a medical grade SAL of 10^-6, which reduces the probability of obtaining a non-sterile unit by two orders of magnitude.
Patented SECUREgrasp Cap
Our patented SECUREgrasp Cap allows lab technicians to hold their media bottle by using the cap – even when your gloves are wet! Exaggerated ridging around the edge of the cap make it easier to securely tighten the cap to the media bottle. A matte surface on the top of the cap makes it easy to label your filtrate sample!
